Summer is here and it's a great time to explore the local forests for new flora and fauna. There are extensive forested areas nearby for you to explore including the Peshtigo River State Forest and the Nicolet National Forest.
Wildlife sightings are common and include bear, deer, fox and a wide variety of birds.
Area waterways offer a variety of recreational opportunities including swimming, boating and fishing. In addition, the Marinette County Parks offering beaches and picnic areas as well as campgrounds for your enjoyment.
