If you prefer a milder ride, late spring and summer is the season, when more moderate flows from the many small, spring fed creeks and tributaries make the river just right for first time rafters, families, and scout groups. There are plenty of fun rapids like in the spring, just a little milder.

All outfitters offer half-day trips, camping and other amenities. Trips are surprisingly affordable, and you can have an adventure that will become a cherished memory. Outfitters also offer rafting the Menominee River at certain times of the year with a short bus trip to the river.
