Spring is just around the corner and things have started to warm up here in northeast Wisconsin. The snow is melting away and the rivers are starting to run. Spring run-off can make for some great waterfall viewing. It can also create great whitewater rafting opportunities on the Peshtigo River.

More signs of spring will be appearing soon as the forest begins to green up and the first wildflowers bloom. The local wildlife will be getting more active as well. Bears will be emerging from their dens and birds will be returning to nest and lay eggs.

The opening waterways also bring spring fishing opportunities. Marinette County has more miles of trout steams than any other Wisconsin County. The local golf courses are getting ready for another season as well.

So, why not plan a spring get-away and come on up for a visit to see all that we have to offer in the Crivitz area.
