We have been providing the latest, state of the art equipment along with a friendly professional staff since 1975, with two convenient locations to make your trips to the Northwoods that much more enjoyable.
We have a prime location on the shore of the Peshtigo River at the end of the “Roaring Rapids” section of the Peshtigo River. This section is one of the longest stretches of continuous whitewater in Wisconsin and the Midwest.
Our location at the end of the raft trip has its advantages, especially for those who finish first. At Kosir’s, you don’t have to wait around for a bus or for your friends to finish before you can change out of your wet clothes. When you get off your raft, you are already walking distance from your car, the shower house, our office/gift shop, the campground, and the “Rapids Resort”.
Rapids Resort is just next door to Kosir’s Peshtigo River Office/Gift Shop, our main headquarters on the shores of the Peshtigo River. It’s a great place to hang out and watch and wait for friends when you get off the river. This is especially nice when the weather is not so nice!

The Goodman Park Cabin sleeps 8 people with two bedrooms with 2 set of bunk beds per room. The cabin has a kitchen with running water, propane stove and propane refrigerator. The bathroom has a sink, bathtub/shower combination and a flush toilet. The cabin is heated for those chiller nights. The cabin rents for $75.00 per night by reservations only.
Goodman Park (240 Acres) offers a bridge over Strong Falls on the Peshtigo River, huge red pines, a lodge for day use rental, hiking-skiing trail, camping, and lovely scenery. A large group campsite and even an overnight cabin are also available by reservation.

After your trip down the Peshtigo or Menominee Rivers, spend some time at Thornton’s Rafting Resort & Campgrounds. Our 18 acre campground features individual water and electric sites, as well as individual and large, wooded group sites. Each site has its own picnic table and fire pit. We have many spacious, wooded campsites with several fire pits and picnic tables to accommodate larger groups. Large, modern shower and restroom facilities are within walking distance of all sites. All sites provide ample parking for all of your vehicles. Pets are welcome as long as you pick up after them and keep them in your campsite.
At Timberline Resort, you can experience Lake Noquebay within footsteps. Lakefront and lakeview cottages, campsites, and a restaurant with amazing sunsets that can be enjoyed from anywhere on the property.
Located just 5 miles east of Crivitz, Wisconsin. About 1 hour north of Green Bay, 3 hours from Milwaukee, or 4 hours from Chicago. Timberline Resort consists of 58 permanent sites, all with 30+ amp service and water. All sites have water and electric hook-ups, picnic tables, fire pits, lake access, and docking facilities. Warm, clean restrooms, coin-operated showers, and dump station located at the resort. A mobile wastewater pump service is also available for your convenience.
